I really need to be better about this blogging thing!
So, a lot has happened in the past couple months....Last week, we finally had our meeting with the Flint Hill design department to finalize all of the details of the wedding, such as flowers, decorations, our cake, and the menu. With so many things to choose from, it was really hard narrowing down what exactly we wanted, but we think everyone will be pleasantly surprised! From mini cheeseburger hors d'oeuvres to Guinness Stout chocolate cupcakes, it will be hard to find anyone leaving hungry :)
With everything that has been going on with the apartment, we had originally decided to stick it out another 10 months before we started looking for houses again. Well, a couple weeks after going out with our realtor, we stumbled upon an incredible house in Woodstock that we couldn't stay away from! After lots of going back and forth, we decided to go for it! Drew and I purchased our first home :)
The house has everything we really could ask for and Drew and I couldn't be happier where we are!
With the closing and the move out of the way, we are now looking at 3 more months till the big day! It feels like time is going faster as it gets closer! Fortunately, we've had a lot of help with finalizing everything with the facility and with all of the big stuff out of the way, we are now down to all of the little details.
We also have our first shower to look forward to coming in the next couple weeks. Labor Day weekend, my mom, sister, and bridesmaids decided to throw a housewarming FIESTA for Drew and I!
We really couldn't be any more thankful to have the support from our family and friends! We only wish they lived closer :(
