Oh Bob.

Bob the Turkey was killed today.  I cannot tell you how much pleasure he has given me since moving to Woodstock.  I knew that he would be out on Main Street to greet me every day.  I always screamed, TURKEY, as I passed him.  He was different than the other "wild" turkeys that roam around my neighborhood...he was special.  Rest in Peace Bob.  I will miss you.  TURKEY!!!

Our Wedding Day

Drew & I were married on Friday, November 18, 2011.  It was a beautiful day and everything went exactly as we had planned.   And if it didn't, we did not care.  It is a day we will remember always.  Here are some of the highlights of the day and night.

My dress was by Casablanca
My shoes were by Aldo
Drew and I agreed not to get each other wedding gifts, but guess what...we both lied.  I bought Drew an iPad.
Drew bought me a new Macbook Pro!  He had wrapped it in a shirt as he ran out of time and did not have time to properly wrap it.  It is a great memory.
We were married at Flint Hill in Norcross, Georgia.  It is the most magical place on earth.  The staff and planners could not have been more wonderful.  They insured that our day was spectacular.

Drew and I chose to have a first look before the actual ceremony so that we could take advantage of the gorgeous Fall light in the late afternoon.

After our first look, Kristy took us off to make beautiful pictures around Flint Hill.  I loved the train tracks...which keeps in the same theme of our engagement photos at the train museum.

There was a great red barn behind the main house that made for a special photo moment.
I had always dreamed of a Fall wedding with the beautiful colors that nature provides.  The weather was a bit cool, but we did not feel it.  It was gorgeous and such a fun time with our best friends among the trees.

I am so happy with how the flowers came out.  The florists at Flint Hill did a beautiful job.

I know...mustaches.  I have a thing for mustaches.  They were so much fun.  Everyone really got into the spirit of things and enjoyed them as much as I do.

Mr and Mrs Solomonson!!

We chose to do Guiness Stout Cupcakes in tea cups instead of a big cake.  We had a small cutting cake on the top tier.  Delicious!!

See?  Mustaches!

The food.  Fantastic!  Wish I could go back and just eat.

First Dance.

It was a beautiful day.  I will add more to this posting but for now, enjoy the pictures.
